Customs rules

The US $800 de minimis exemption ended on 29 August 2025. Import duty and taxes now apply from the first dollar on most postal shipments from China. The exact rate depends on the HTSUS classification of your item.

Lithium batteries, liquids, powders, food, drugs, weapons and branded counterfeits are restricted or prohibited. Carriers apply their own rules on top of US import law.
